Mission Aviation Fellowship is a worldwide team of specialists, meeting the aviation and communications needs of overseas missions and relief and development organizations serving those living in the poorest and most remote parts of the world.

Over 450 missionary staff families including more than 40 Canadians and their families, perform specialized tasks which aid the ministries of local churches and relief and development agencies through aviation, and radio and internet-based communications.

Perhaps best known for aviation, Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) pilots and mechanics operate and maintain a fleet of over 135 aircraft - flying in and out of some 2,500 airstrips around the world.

Together, MAF reaches out on Wings of Love to put Christian faith into action by providing for the transportation and communications needs of hundreds of missions and relief and development agencies, as well as local churches around the world, which depend on the ministry of Mission Aviation Fellowship.

Mission Statement

Our passion is to see individuals, communities, and nations transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We promote this transformation by positioning Christ-centered staff in strategic locations worldwide utilizing aviation, communications, learning technologies, other appropriate technologies and related services. In accomplishing our mission, we collaborate with churches, subsidiaries, partners, and networks.
